MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES

As promised - this is the link that can take you to the field of exploring and working with the concept of multiple intelligences; and 'your' kind of intelligence.

Do let me know (via comments) how you fare - what you think is your side to this intelligence concept.

EMOTION: Session One

I hope that you still remember the assignments for next class, and the people who are working alongside you in the groups.

DO NOT write essay responses. Just generate proofs/examples of how these topical questions can be further on developed.

See you on Tuesday.

READING ASSIGNMENT

For our Tuesday session, do not forget to read and remark on the excerpt I provided you with from Gestalt Therapy

The Questions you ought to consider in relation to the excerpt are:

1. What is the basis of Gestalt Therapy?

2. How do you find your insight on perception and what the excerpt speaks about it?

3. Language/Perception/Emotion, are 3 of the 4 identified ways of knowing in TOK methodology; as a triangle how are they approached/used in Gestalt Therapy?

See you Tuesday, armed with your refurbished essays.

REMINDERS: Essay plus Referrences

1. Make the British Council and the University Library your place of referrnce.

2. The re-tooled essay is due next Tuesday, November 21st; typed and double-spaced. If you never turned in an essay, now would be a good time to make that up!

3. Read the packet from Gestalt Therapy, and wait for the questions to be posted on the blog so that you might have a context to answer them against.

4. Breathe.

And we'll begin our work on the lookout/make up of a TOK essay; start creating a reference list and see what the linrary has to offer.
